Traffic Alert: I-71 Project Causes Closures Near Downtown Louisville

The I-71 project will result in closures near downtown Louisville. This work is part of a widening project to expand I-71 from four lanes to six lanes.

Starting on March 2, there will be daily alternating closures on Zorn Avenue near I-71 for bridge pier construction, lasting until mid-April. Additionally, Edith Road will be closed between River Rd and Mellwood until March 20. Nightly lane closures on I-71 will also occur between the 65/71 split near Frankfort Avenue and Zorn Avenue, starting March 2.
